If you're spending this week in Charleston, then you're sure to have a very merry time! With lots of holiday events taking place over the weekend, it will be easy to find yourself immersed in the magic of the season! Here are a handful of the wonderful events available for you to enjoy.

Candlelight Tours of Drayton Hall 

Come experience Drayton Hall- a gorgeous 18th century home- by candlelight! This is a fantastic way to hear about Charleston's rich history and experience a colonial home from a non-modernized perspective. After your tour, enjoy a warm drink!

Tours will be available December 17 and 18 by reservation only. Tickets will be $45 for non-members. 

A Christmas Carol Reading 

Is it really Christmas without Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol?  On December 18, come see English actor James Dyne take on the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in an engaging performance of the Christmas classic. Tickets are $15-$20. Find out more at: https://travelingliterarytheater.com/

Cookie Decorating in The Library

Join The Restoration Hotel in The Library for a fun gingerbread cookie decorating event! $5 per person will get you all of the supplies you need to create cookie masterpieces. Check it out on December 18!

If you love the film Elf, then you'll love this musical interpretation of the story! Join Buddy the Elf as he leaves Santa's workshop and searches for his true identity in New York City. Candlelight Orchestra Christmas Concert 

Enjoy a unique Christmas experience in Charleston- come see the Candlelight Orchestra at historic South Carolina Society Hall! This internationally-touring orchestra puts on beautiful, moving shows. Even those who aren't typically fans of classical music will find themselves in awe as the music surges and candlelight flickers, filling the historic venue with pure magic.

There will be two shows on December 19. Purchase your tickets before the events sell out!
