Here's Why You Should Visit Charleston This Fall

September 12, 2022

Fall is my favorite season! It also happens to be one of the best times of year to travel- and there's no better place to travel to than Charleston! Here's why you should visit Charleston this fall.

Leaf Peeping

Charleston may not be the first place you think of when you want to see leaves changing, but you can actually see gorgeous fall foliage here if you know where to look! Immerse yourself in the beauty by exploring some of the best local leaf peeping spots. Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is an easy choice for beautiful fall color. You'll also find some color a bit north of the city in Francis Marion National Forest.

Pumpkin Patches

Who doesn't love spending the day picking out perfect pumpkins with your loved ones!? The iconic Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch is unmissable, but there are many other options as well! Fall Festivals

There are many fall festivals that take place in and near Charleston! Love donuts? Check out Donut Fest Charleston (October 24) for donuts and beer! Love country music? Charleston's Riverfront Revival (October 8 - 9) is a brand new music festival created by Darius Rucker. Another awesome upcoming event is Charleston Mimosa Festival (October 15).

Have a great fall adventure in Charleston! Plan your trip today!
