There, you can swim, surf, picnic, and more! You can also go on a [kayaking trip](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g54171-Activities-c61-t191-Charleston_South_Carolina.html) or recreate the famous boat scene from The Notebook at [Cypress Gardens](https://cypressgardens.berkeleycountysc.gov/). Visit an amusement park: There are lots of amusement parks and water parks where you can enjoy a day full of family fun. If you want to beat the heat, then you should head to [Splash Zone Waterpark](https://www.ccprc.com/1659/Splash-Zone) at James Island County Park. Looking for other options? [Summit Adventure Park](https://summitadventureparkcharleston.com/) is a terrific trampoline park. There's also [Frankies Fun Park](https://frankies.com/charleston/), which offers go-kart tracks, arcades, and more.  Go shopping: Snag some great deals this Labor Day!
