The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the largest oyster festival in the world. People come to Charleston from all over to enjoy this fun festival! There, you'll find more oysters than you've ever seen before. Food can be purchased from a variety of vendors, with the majority of items costing $1 to $6. Oysters can be purchased by the bucket, steamed, at market value. Beer and wine can also be purchased.

Along with delicious food, you'll find live music and activities. Live music is provided by Andrew Beam and the Bluestone Ramblers. Activities include aerialist performances, traditional lowcountry sweatgrass weaving, crafts, and more. In the spirit of the festival, there will be raw oyster eating and shucking contests!
